I dont really like the fact that our team is owned by all these entertainers. Why is Ross selling some of the team to them. Miami Dolphins football speaks for itself I dont like the idea of bringing in all this entertainment in to help sell the product. Win and we will sell tickets simple as that.

It speaks for itself....is that why we can't sell out the stadium unless it's jets and pats fans? The fact is there is such a huge hispanic market in FL, bringing in people who appeal to hispanics makes sense.

Winning is the perfect season gave us the biggest fan base and yes winning will sell more tickets... in the other hand it is not like these entertainers are coaching the team plus J-LO and Gloria are hot not does it matter but they are

You admit you don't understand it so why complain about something you don't get?

The NFL is becoming more of a show rather than a game.

^Nice @zz sleek!:hi5:

About the thread just think of Ross as a really wealthy wanna bee, who is offering nice little tax shelters for the price of rubbing elbows

I dont see the big deal at all..
Its not like Marc Anthony is gonna be handing off to jimmy buffet
I wouldnt mind J Lo playing Tight end though

What's with it? Ross does not have lots of liquid capital and is also trying to grow the appeal of a team that even when it is winning cannot fil it's venue. He brings in absurdly successful buisnesspeople who are also entertainers to give him cash and to help him promote his product.

It's all about bringing in new fans. I don't see a problem with it.

Why do people resent the rich? Because that's what this is, pure and simple. I'm poor as hell, but it doesn't bother me that Marc Anthony could go to a Ferrari dealership anytime he wants and buy an Enzo. So what if he wants to buy a stake in the team? It's his right to do so and God bless him for it.

We'll have to disagree on this one Goon. If Ross wants to bring in business people to help the Dolphins I say that is a good thing. I thought the Buffet thing was a little much but after I thought about it didn't seem like such a bad idea but Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez( How ridiculous!). I know there is not a damn thing we can do about it so I'll just live with it. I have no choice. I find the whole thing to be lame and flat out corny honestly.

I don't know what Bill Parcells take is on the whole thing but I'm sure if it gets out of hand he just might want to escape the circus and walk. If Ross chases BP away with all this hokey garbage that would be a damn shame.

It just might happen. :ponder:

And Ross is one of the leaders of this movement. I'm getting tired of talking about this, all of this is making me sick to my stomach.

And Bill Parcells needs to stay, he is the whole reason we are at the stage we are at now not Stephan Ross.
