This is purely a question, not second guessing anyone in any way, but how has Ross dismantled this organisation?

The 'regime' that is in place now was in place BEFORE he was full owner, no?

Maybe he is a little 'lax in moving people out of their place... !?

Again, these are questions to where people with more memory on what happened since he is here and analysed it more can answer...

It's Ross's fault for trying to replace Sparano after the team quit on him last season.

It's Ross's fault that Harbaugh did not want to leave the Bay Area.

It's Ross's fault that Gruden didn't want to come out of the broadcast booth.

It's Ross's fault that the best QB available was Kyle Orton and he's not any better than Chad Henne.

It's Ross's fault that he's not an offensive line guru who could have found a better right tackle than Marc Columbo.

It's Ross's fault that he hasn't fired Sparano yet and given Todd Bowles a chance to take the team to the playoffs.

etc.

Sarsasm? ;)

Stephen Ross blew the Harbaugh deal and actually EXTENDED Sparano, a coach no players really supported after the year. He is the only Dolphins fan that decided against change. Plus he's likely chased away the 2012 coaching candidates due to his actions from last year.

He tried to get Harbaugh and then offered Gruden 7 mil. He tried to get Cowher but was leery of giving one man total control.

I agree that extending Sparano was dumb, but then again, I'm sure he was counseled that leaving the coach as a lame duck was a bad idea.

The extension means nothing. It was only to give the appearance of confidence to help Sparano get a new OC...it obviously didn't work cause all we got was Daboll. If you think the extension prevents Ross from firing Sparano you're wrong so really the extension means nothing.

Ross should get credit for nixing the Orton trade...we would have lost a valuable pick at the top of the 4th round for a stop gap QB.

Oh I agree, but I think the idea that you need to keep a coach from being in the last year of his contract is stupid, and Ross has only wasted money that he could have saved to throw at another coach. Sparano did NOTHING to warrant a two year extension. Everybody knows he is on the hot seat, nobody was fooled. Make him coach for his job, maybe it will actually inspire him to do a better job.

...so again, I hear not much to plaster Ross for the full frontal criticism he is getting for 'destroying the franchise' and 'killing the beautiful Dolphins heritage' and the hate and all that is being said now...

If anything, it's more on Huizenga?!
