What's with the Pennington Picks?

i

now you see why jets fans were glad to see rag-arm chad go. this has been his MO for his whole career. he'll make the play-offs if he can play enough regualr seaosn games against the avergae defenses during the year. but in the play-offs against the really good defenses he sh*ts the bed again and again. you should just hope they cut him after this year, cause he'll just hold your team back from ever making a real championship run. otherwise you'll find people making excuse after excuse of why your team can't win it...when it's all noodle boys fault.

Sad to say this, but I kind of agree. Chad is a great QB, until a big time game against a good team comes around. He was known as a choker in New York, and he choked today.

Tried to do much with limited resources...no REAL recievers.
This team went far on grit and determination, but more
overall talent won out.

No, the lack of protection and Pennington making mistakes. Ginn made some big catches and is improving. I think some more help on the right side of the line to help get the run game going and a big receiver to for the goalline and some more help on defense. I don't know about Pennington. I don't know about saying he is a wash because of one bad game even though it was a big one in the playoffs. If Miami makes the playoffs next season and he plays the same way, then ok.

But it happens. If we were to just judge simply by a bad playoff game, then people would not like Peyton Manning as Peyton has had ****ty playoffs games before, especially against New England, which Peyton has thrown 4 ints against the Pats, yet most teams would love to have Peyton Manning as their qb as he is one of the best qbs in the league. I sure would love Miami to have Peyton Manning, so..

what are you going to do. He had a totally crappy game. It happens, wish it wasn't today. The team just can't compete right now with the more physical elite teams. Hope for a great draft and free agents pick ups. Need to bring more nasty to this team.

Overall great season. Fun while it lasted.

On to the will Bill leave rumors for the next month.

Chad played in a lot of big games this year and choked in none of them. This was a case of the #2 defense in the NFL showing its superiority over an average NFL offense. Chad is the best, most consistent player we have on offense. He has to take blame for the 4 INTs but not all the blame. The Fin OL blocked nobody all day whether run, pass, or extra points. The Dolphin WRs are below average (actually well below). There was nowhere to throw and Chad tried to force a few with no time to think due to the rush. The Fins are a way off talent wise but play with a lot of heart (true over achievers). Chads errors along with a few others (Cobbs, Ginn, etc.) put thee team in an unwinable situation. We were beat at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

Both of Reed's picks should have been flagged defensive PI -- Ginn tripped on first, Cobbs shoved in back on second. The other two were bad protection by our line.

They are not well below average, they are just young and still developing, they have shown a lot of promise and potential with their good catching, this team has one of the fewest drops in the league and their clutch catches. We see how well some big name Wrs and teams supposedly stocked with talent do (Dallas)
