Will he be a starter?

IMO Dre Goodman has done a fantastic job this year and deserves to continue starting. If this is the case, where will Daniels go? Nickel?

im sorry i cant agree there, did you see goodman let that ball go RIGHT PAST him yesterday on 3rd and long?!?! yes i believe daniels starts

Daniels may replace Goodman or Will Allen, but I don't think neither of these corners are starting caliber cornerbacks.

We have so much depth at safety with Reynaldo, Jason, and Yeremiah, but we still need to fill those holes at CB.

Of course he'll be the starter. But he'll have to get healthy and remain that way for the rest of the season. Not exactly an easy task based on his recent rash of injuries.

I disagree. Will Allen does a fine job at CB.

He does do a fine job at corner. He is physical and he can come up and tackle people in run support.
I agree. Didn't see the game but from the radio broadcast I heard his name a lot. Nothing negative. Daniels and Will Allen could make a good set of corners.

Goodman is streaky. He can be really solid but has some lapses. I guess every #2/#3 does though so IMO he's had a pretty decent year.

Daniels was pretty solid in 2005, but just hasn't looked the same this year. IMO Daniels matches up well against larger receivers, and I think from week to week should determine whether Daniels or Goodman is the #2. If one of the starting WRs is big, than start Daniels, if not start Goodman.

I think to say that Goodman or Allen arn't starting corners is a wrong assesment. What I do think though is that we dont have a CB that will be able to shut down a dominate reciever on another team. If we have to face a Chad Johnson or Owens we dont have that guy that can really shut them down. We do have guys though that put good coverage on good recievers. Great CB's are very special things to have and dont come often. We have some pretty good CB's though and they have done a pretty good job this year, especiall as of late.

Will Allen is doing a very good job at corner this year and I think Daniels will take over once he is 100% which might be this week or against Detroit.

Cornerbacks our receivers who can't catch so Will Allen has the perfect job.

I dont feel comfortable with Goodman either, he seems to be out of position too much. When the ball is coming he is turned the wrong way. There where several times when he should have had an interception but was looking the wrong way. I think Daniels over time will be a good cornerback, better then Goodman. As far as W Allen goes, he has got to learn to catch the ball. so many oppitunities go by where we could have an interception, and these guys just have hands of stone.
