When do you guys think they will pick the new hc?

i think by weds the latest but i sure as hell hope its tonight and hope its zimmer since he's already in florida
 
I think they will interview Zimmer and Philbin again and announce the new coach wednesday or thursday. No info on it, just a gut feeling
 
no clue at all, maybe when he finishes having someone write a speech with spin control how this was really the coach he wanted
 
When someone says Yes.......looks to me that we are a fall back plan for any potiential HC....Tampa will get the next best prospect, then Oakland, then we will hire the guy and say how we wanted him all along.....
 
I will say on Friday. I don't think any of the coaches who are still in the playoffs are going to be given an interview. I doubt we get a big name coach at this point...but that might not be a bad thing.

Agreed. Friday seems likely, fangio or pagano could be good candidates from teams still in the playoffs but I doubt Ross would delay appointing his coach to interview them.. Would expect to see either Zimmer, Philbin or Carmichael appointed by the end of the week with the entire staff assembled in preparation for the senior bowl.
 
After we lose out on Zimmer they'll realize they should've hurried their ***** up and make a knee jerk hire. Probably Philbin or even that nobody McCoy
 
everyone's in a hurry and then as soon as they pick one half of this board will say he's the right guy and we'll win the superbowl with him. The other half will tell us how he's the worst guy we could have hired and how we're doom for the next 10 years.......Me, I will just wait and see how the guy does before I lean one way or the other......lol

Carmichael JR? Doesn't seem like too many to me. That's one guy and it's not even a certainty were interested.

Zimmer as HC, Hue Jackson or Haley as OC would be nice. Or Carmichael Jr
 
I think the senior bowl is coming up in a couple of weeks. So you would think they will want a staff in place by the end of the week. To get ready to scout it out. Jeff Ireland likes to sit in the stands and watch the practices/game and you would think he is gonna want his guy by then........
