teams start dumping their players after the third preason game. I believe the final date is different each year- that is when the team needs to be down to 53.
If you are looking for players to be cut right on june 1st you might be in for a long wait.

The first week of September.
53 man cutdown is at the end of Aug, around Aug 28th I think. That's when the rosters are final.

thats not the Final Cuts the final cuts are in late Augest or early September when you cut the roster to 53 players
