When is the last time we knew how to play special teams?

I might be the only one but, our kick coverage and our return game have got to be the worst ever. When will we be able to pin a team deep? Our kickers are very good but, the coverage is killing our lack-luster defense.
I didn't know any of the patriots returners but we made them look like all-pros. The texan game wasn't any better.
We can't block for our returners either. Someone please tell me it will get better.

Since the days of JJ and Westhoff, when they actually bothered to sign guys specifically for special teams play. Aside from Ginn this team has never had that dynamic returner but at least under Westhoff they would always have excellent coverage units.

We knew better than anyone when we had Westhoff. Damn just thinking about it puts in perspective how far this franchise has fallen. I miss our players behaving professionally and executing intelligently.
