... is there any logic to retaining Satele at center and moving Pouncey to (left) guard? If I recall, Pouncey had some inconsistency with his snaps. Not sure if that issue was completely resolved.

There is definitely logic to that imo, but I also think it will never happen. I think if Satele plays well, Pouncy wont be rushed to return. He might even make a case to stay on the roster.

If the guard play keeps up, Pouncey goes back to his pro bowl position.

Most of the work on Wilfork this past weekend was done by the guards.

let me see Satele perform at center until pouncey is back. AT that point if Satele is still playing with postitive ratings and winning some POA battles, then yeah, I think Pouncey would be great at guard. However, pouncey feels like he's a leader, and that would obviously seem like a demotion and would hurt his future earnings.

I had the same assumption about Satele, but he surprised me yesterday. He held the fort for 1 game. We will know what we have in Satele after the Buffalo game for sure.

Satele was the guy that did absolutely nothing on the play. He looks like he lost a contact lens.

I've stated in other threads that Satele looked lost at the 2nd lvl.....multiple times. The guard play was exceptional, and Wilfork only had 30 or so snaps. So typical fh echo chamber, makes it like Satele did all the work. Lazy really.

It wont. Pouncey (if healthy) is a massive upgrade. Massive. Satele is the liability of the current line. He did a serviceable job week 1, but if you're counting on that to last, you're asking for trouble.
