when was the last time you were this excited about this team going into the season?
the year w got Culpper was it for me.i really thought he would get this team into the playoffs.even though I wanted Brees I was still excited we got Culpper

before that it was the year we got Ricky Williams

Not excited yet. Anxious but not excited. I really want to see progress in preseason and not read about it in training camp tweets.

When Jimmy Johnson was announced as head coach.

Wanny being fired is right up there also.

At the beginning of the 2010 season I legitimately thought we had a lot of talent, Henne would come into his own, and we would make some noise... I was not correct, as it turns out.

2002 I thought we were in it to win it. Since then I've been mildly excited a couple times like 2009, 2014 but 2002 I thought we were real good.

When we made the cover of ESPN as Super Bowl favorites with Ricky leading the way.

Me too on this one. I completely bought the hype.

-But then the Dolphins remembered they were the Dolphins, Wannstedt ran his hand through his hair, and our Super Bowl predictions turned into this:

Had to be when AJ Feely on his first throw in practice went for a loooooong TD pass to David Boston....lol. Everyone cheered and cried Superbowl.

I still remember the article on that. lol

Never. I had never been this excited. I am so proud of the ownership, coaches and players. They've come back from the depths of misery that has plagued us for decades. That is a monumental accomplishment.

There are a few negatives for me going into the season: the two injuries, to Devante and Albert, and Clay not being back.

Quite honestly I haven't been excited for the season since Marino was the QB. I've never realistically thought we had a chance to win one with the QB's this team has trotted out since then. Tannehill now changes that perspective.
