When will Channing Crowder step up and make a big play?

This is year four without an interception or a sack.

Talk about a guy who is overdue for a game changing play. Will we see it today or ever?

I am growing impatient with his inability to be an impact type player in this defense. I have been seeing a lack of awareness for a long time. He needs to be a difference maker for once in his career.

I've grown tired of the incessant dumping on our players for one reason or the other. Be that as it may, I can't help but agree with you here. Channing Crowder has done only 1 thing well his entire career. That one thing is being consistent... Consistently average.
 
lol i've been waiting for the day he gets a pick, maybe todays the day.
 
Channing was mentored for 4 years by the best middle linebacker the Dolphins have ever had ... Zach Thomas. Channing has been the "middle linebacker of the future" that we've been developing to take over for Zach as he got older. Well, that time has COME Channing. You are supposed to be "the guy" ... the new "monster in the middle" ... the new "tackling machine".

It's time for Channing to step up and be a bigtime PLAYMAKER like Zach was. Zach was a gamechanger. Channing knows the kind of things that Zach did to prepare for games. Channing needs to do the same type things. Whatever it takes to become a star. He's the "quarterback of the defense". Us Dolphins fans have gotten used to seeing really good linebackers the past 10 years. We'd like that to continue.

It's time to shine Channing! It's time for you to become well known like Zach was. Zach was as good a "quarterback of the defense" as Marino was on the offensive side. It's time for Channing's NFL career to look more like Zach's on wikipedia:

Unfortunately the resigning of Crowder said alot about this FO. Do it on the cheap. They choose not to address the position in the draft...all that did was reinforce my 'doubts' on what is going on in S. Florida.
There was no market for Crowder, he wasn't finding the money. And unfortunately for MIA, he still isn't finding the football. The guy played out his rookie contract with NO playmaking stats...will that change. NO. Crowder is what he is...
 
Wislon has a much better chance than Chowder.

I have watched Chowder for four years and every year I hope and pray that something clicks in his head. He is four years of dissapointment.

I was really hoping we wouldn't resign him. When we did I was once again, hoping the FO saw something in him that I have never seen. Well they must be blind, because once again Crowder is doing nothing this year but being a BELOW average ILB.

Now I just try to ignore him, becuase when I ever watch him in a game I get sick to my stomache.

Sometime I just wanna punch Parcells in the gut.
 
Crowder will be replaced and we'll upgrade in the draft. Crowder can be a back-up and run his mouth on the bench.

Someone wrote a story this week about how many tackles Crowder has made compared to how many are being made by the safeties.

It was pretty pathetic. It might be the defensive scheme, but the middle linebackers have both sucked. Akin is even more lame than channing..
 
Crowder will never step up. He has had more than enough time to step up.
