At this point...I can't imagine a scenario where Philbin doesn't get fired or step down. Unless our team pulls a 180, and we somehow go 10-6 or 11-5 and make the playoffs and go beyond the 1st round...I just don't see him staying. Hes gone...the question is when?

Does he step down himself? Does he get fired before the season is over? Does Ross wait until after the season??

Lets try and pinpoint it here in this thread, and see if anybody got it right when its time to celebrate!

Pilibeen gets body transplant remains coach til 2115

I think the bye week assuming we get stomped by the Jets and I think Lazor gets the gig the rest of the season. Then, we perform just well enough to not know if we should keep Lazor and draft 15th or 16th right out of reach of the top flight OL or LB prospects.

Want nothing to do with Lazor he can run the if Philbin is fired but we need to go find a coach. Our guy is not on this roster. The offensive play calling is horrid, why would I trust him longterm

Team will probably regroup and win some, finish with 6-8 wins, he will last season and then get sacked. If they go on a losing streak right away and that is very possible, my money is on week 7.

Ross loves Philbin. Nothing will change till after the season ends.

I actually agree with you I'm just saying a crappy scenario I could see coming to fruition

Bottom line is the entire staff will be gone by the end of the year. The real question is whether the FO can get it right this time, or if we're just gonna invest another 4 years in somebody who can't lead a team.

Damnit....I made a POLL but it timed out before I could post it.....the point of this thread was to see our votes :(

What I can't figure out is why Ross keeps hiring coaches with no head coaching experience? The Dolphins job is not one to cut your teeth on.

For the future of the franchise it is probably better to keep Philbin for the duration of the season. I get a feeling of rage every time I see him on the screen so 13 more weeks will be torturous. Joe should go back to what it is he does best. Not calling plays for the Packers

Maybe the team shows some life under new management

true... but its just so hard to basically start anew this far into a season. (even if only week 3)

ugh... its tough. its a mess
