Dolphins may lose some of these candidates for various reasons.

The Dolphins probably have their five, we won't know who they are until they start interviewing them. They won't announce the final five to the media and fans.

However, we do know for a fact that Tomlin is one of the five. His next interview is on Monday.

As much as the suspense and waiting are KILLING me, I would much rather Wayne took his time and got it right. Hopefully this one's going to be our coach for a loooong time.

Since you really can't speed up the process, why not just relax and enjoy the process? If Wayne ran out and hired the first guy he interviewed you'd be the first to rip him a new one, unless of course he hired the guy you wanted.

Very well might be that Wayne has his eye on Cam or Marty, and can't even talk to either of them untill their team is eliminated from the playoffs.

Seems to me they must be awaiting the conclusion of the playoffs for some of these candidates.

One might conclude that they may have a primary target still alive in the playoffs.

There is always a chance we may lose someone we may be interested in if we wait to long but I think its worth the wait IMO if we could include someone in the playoffs.

Tomlin also interviewed with Steelers.

How do we know Tomlin is getting second interview? Are there any others we know of with 2nd interviews?

After watching the joe bailey show on miamidolphins.com I get a strong feeling that our lead candidate is coaching in the playoffs. Most likely the head coach or OC of the Chargers...:dolphins:

AMEN brutha! I think we are forgetting that the HC of the Miami Dolphins is one of the top jobs in all of sports (until Saban cheapened it). Wayne should not get caught up in the hype. He should pick the guy he wants and the guy that wants to be here! Who cares about the flippin' Cardinals?

I think the reason for the wait is because their leading canidate is still in the playoffs and are waiting until their season is over.
