He is a very solid slot corner which is somewhat hard to find. Not fair to grade him out as a boundary corner, he should have never been moved there last year.

Jake brendel starts over Asiata or on the pivot in that scenario assuming health of course.

He’s a no brainer tender

It’s a tall order but really the right path.
You aren’t releasing any long term talent.
Pickup comp picks for James and Wake.
Clear the decks in terms of salary and personnel for the rebuild.
2-3 year process.

I was just listing the roster situation before anyone re-signs or gets tendered and I had Asiata thrown in at LG which I'm not sure would be the case. The lowest tender amount is over $2M and it would be for right of first refusal. You gonna pay a fringe player that much? Just curious.

how is the lowest tender on a initial udfa add +$2mil?

If they make all of those moves it will be full on tank mode.

Don't really think that's the best way for Flores to start his tenure, and I doubt he/Grier will allow it to happen.

This team can rebuild and compete in 2019, but not without an offensive line and QB.

I would strongly consider tagging James myself.

As of January 1, 2020, you will not care about the 2019 Dolphins.

There's no grace in losing vs tanking. Do you want to have a Top 3 draft pick or #13 again to draft your next QB?

Pin your ears back, make the tough calls now and embrace the long term. Enough trying to salvage a season or a roster talk.

Purge mediocrity and cleanse this organization now.

There are certainly players that need to go (Branch, Quinn, etc.) becasue they are simply not worth their contract.

James is one player I am very concerned about though.

People say he's soft or whatever, but he's gonna get PAID on the market because he is very valuable even if Dolfans don't understand.

I think he's much better than Morgan Moses in Washington who's making bank because of how hard it is to find good tackles, sure would be nice to have decent bookends for the foreseeable future.

The idea of intentionally sucking for a year doesn’t work for me, especially before the draft.
