I think I read that Bates purposely didnt show any of his blitz packages because the game was so far out of reach. Apparantly thats been one of the things that theyve been working on all summer.

I also wonder how much influence Norv's dynamic playcalling will have on the defense. Bates must be looking over at the other side of the ball, looking at all the gimmicks, mismatches, and audibles, and thinking to himslef - "why cant i be that dynamic?"
