Found this article on a rival website and it kind of got me thinking - http://www.thephinsider.com/2013/10/31/5050498/dolphins-rookie-report-card-week-8 . From our 2013 class we drafted 9 rookies and only a handful are seeing any playing time (very limited time to be exact). The majority of our rooks have been inactive most of the season. I understand some of the rooks are fighting injuries and others simply won't pan out but one would think they need to share playing time in order to develop properly. As much as our play calling has been to blame this season, I'm also feeling that part of our current situation can be attributed to our staff neglecting to develop the youngsters. Veterans get injured all the time and it almost seems like we're scared to play them. It's also possible that Ireland screwed the pooch this draft and that all of the 2013 rooks are terrible - I honestly don't believe this but it's kind of hard to form an opinion since they never really play. Hopefully we see more of ours rooks tonight but I'll leave it open for discussion - Where have all the rookies gone and why do you think it's so hard for them to find the field this year?
