For the second straight week Chad wasnt seen at the game. Does anyone know why? I can understand him missing last week because it was his first game out, but I am getting a little annoyed that he isnt at the games supporting his team, or at least supporting Henne... Could he be pissed that Henne will most likely take his job? Having Pennington on the sidelines would be extremely helpful in the development of Henne.. So what gives?

I thought the same thing... I dont understand when I hear these players that cant play watching from home. I would think I would be at every game on the sideline supporting as much as I can.

tony does'nt allow injured players on the feild, and he is working behind the scenes, breaking down film, and putting packages together for henne to look at.

Beat me to it. Henne said the other day that Pennington was working 2 weeks ahead of the rest of the staff on film.

Gotta respect a guy who knows he is done as a starter here and still continues to contribute. Then again, he is still recieving a paycheck.

Can't have Penny on the sidelines during a game. This is Henne's team now, Penny's reign ended against SD. He can help w/ film and tendencies w/ Henne, but please let Penny go, he is not a gameday cheerleader.

going back to pennington late in the season would be disaster waiting to happen , no offense to pennington

I hope this means Penny will be apart of the staff when he retires.

You know what they say...behind every successful QB is a selfless veteran leader with a thrice-injured throwing shoulder. :foundout:

i think it would be ok to sign him to a 1 year deal as a backup. he wouldn't lose us any games, if henne were to get hurt...

i'm not sure any team would sign him to start.

How many draft picks are invested in the QB position? Then explain why this FO would give a roster spot to a 3 time shoulder injury plagued qb who will be 34.

How is this pennington's fault? And i'm sorry, but I wouldn't trust white or thigpen to operate the dolphins offense if henne was hurt. Pennington already knows the system, plus it will be his good year. lol he was good last year, hurt this year, so we are all good. :p
