I thought I had read that TBum indirectly did us another favor by giving his recommendation when asked by the Jets organization about Gase.

It makes sense, he's without a job and if he probably wants to broker relationships, his with the Jets and strengthen his with Gase, both of whom will be in position to help him out down the road.
