I guess this is just the times we live in. Is there anyone we can trust?

Someone get on the phone with the team trainer. He will know the truth. Or maybe Peyton's housekeeper.

Twitter destroyed journalism. There is no way around it...

You said it, brother.

The days of an actual, significant "attention span" are dead.

I feel like a drug addict. You can only hit refresh so often. I feel dirty and ashamed.

Exactly!! I'm actually on my way to work n this **** pissed me off more than if we were actually out of the running. ATTN: All beat writers sources say yall need to stfu

There is none, each of these fools is trying to be the first to come through with a scoop. I for one have become resigned to the fact that the majority of the ish we are reading is false. I've learned my lesson after the Harbaugh and Fisher debacles to not put too much credence into the reports from the so-called experts, and to wait until the signature is drying on the contract before i celebrate.

I give no credit to the first person to report something any way. How is that a demonstration of journalism skill? When was the last Pulitzer Prize awarded to the Yahoo who broke the big news story (of the day) anyway? There's no award for crying wolf is there? All it tells you, is that you know people that are trustworthy. And even that is suspect.

i suppose being a reporter in Iran with sources in Ahmadinijad's regime would be impressive. People's lives are on the line. In this case, you just say what you think is reasonable. Use the phrase "sources are telling me" to couch it and say whatever the hell you want to say. Then if you are wrong, so what, re tweet a new update and cover yourself.

I thought the Broncos were the true favorites to land Manning, but there's still a decent chance Arizona can make a play. Miami is still in it but it's very unlikely until Manning sets the meeting with Ross, then it's a done deal.

Gross. I need a shower.

sometimes the pressure to get the story out first means the need to by pass accuracy. IMO

Come on now...... I'll give you a pass if you're age 20 or below.

But the state of journalism was utterly destroyed LONG before twitter ever came around.

This year seems to be the worst in journalism. It doesn't help that the Dolphins beat writers are mostly douchebags
