Where's all of the Travis Minor posts?

I remember seeing posts on Charlie Rogers week after week. Well, people complained about C-Rog's 22.1 average. So why aren't you people complaining about Minor's 20.4?

I just don't understand it. IMO, Out of Rogers and Minor.. I'd rathet have Rogers there. He's returned kicks for TDs before(including last year), so it's obvious he can do it. I just don't see it in Minor.

Honestly, I'd like to see Simmons not only as the punt returner.. but the kick returner as well.

I agree. I like Simmons in both rolls. I just think they're A) trying to get Travis on the field more, and B) hoping they show us enough to justify cutting Rogers. B) is dependant on a spot needing to be available (Possibly D Bowens or the extra OLman).

Plus Minor is the backup RB, he has another purpose on the team. Rogers only job is to return kicks. If he's not among the league leaders then he will be the first one cut when adding another player to the roster. I don't mind if Minor can give us approx the number of yards Rogers is giving, I just think that having a return "specialist" that is towards the bottom of the league in avg yds is a waste of a roster spot.

I always thought signing Rogers was a waste of time. Too bad he proved me right.

It would be great to see huge returns if we would actually get some blocking down the field.

I agree with JS55. I think the blocking has been horrible. Another reason I think Wanny made a mistake by getting rid of Westoff (who is still doing real well with the damn Jets) and bringing in one of his friends to coach Special teams. Of all the things Wanny has done, that is still the MOST upsetting to me.
