You do understand the 48 hr "tampering" rules right? The race started a day ago.
I will take a short term contract for Mathis at 5 -6 million per year to buy us time to finally draft a guard that can play. Paying solid guards 8 - 10 million a year makes no sense at all. That being said this is far and away our most pressing need.

I'm anxious too with guys signing quickly. I believe Boone went to Minnesota.
Hope we don't leave it entirely to the draft. If so, probably looking round 1 maybe Conklin at #13.
