I too have been a fan of this team for the better part of 35+ years and have never seen a team/coaching staff with such a lack of passion/display of emotion. Philbin never changes his facial expressions and even Tannehill, as the leader that comes with being the QB, needs to grab an OL by he facemask sometimes and let them have it a La Dan Marino...........They all just mosey on their own little way like everything is fine. I'm disgusted!!!

It's truly inexplicable how this team came come out in a home opener against a division rival and play like quitters. They're soft, and they've been soft for years.

It's a systemic problem....deeper than just Philbin.

I really tried to give joe the benefit of the doubt in years past cuz the stench of ireland was still lingering around and you cant rebuild in a year but ive had it, ive seen enough. He always has the same answers after every loss and nothing changes, ever. I agree this team has no passion from the top down. They play with no urgency no emotion like they just cant wait for the game to be over. On paper this team has talent but it isnt translating to the field and i mostly blame it on coaching. If we lose against the jets we will get the same "were gonna look at and evaluate everything" BS thatjoe loves to spew but the reality is he can evaluate all he wants but he never does and never will do **** to fix it and when he does its always too late.

Pretty sad when the announcers were describing the Dolphins as "lethargic", "having no desire" and "sleepwalking on the field".

The players play like they have given up and don't give a damn. It's painfully obvious.

I joined the forum literally just to reply in this thread. I was at the game and I honestly was so angry I felt like throwing something or kicking a door down or getting in a players face myself. The only way to temper my anger was to just leave after halftime. What a terrible experience from top to bottom. The traffic situation is terrible. The lines to enter the gates ( even early ) were horrible and then the performance just wow. And then I don't see one coach, player, ball boy, ANYONE showing passion?!? youre down 27 - 0 at halftime can someone scream at someone on the field like they give a sh*t ? Makes me almost miss Sporano fist pumping for FG's but jeez at least the man showed you he cared.

I'll give you the biggest problem and it isn't going away anytime soon. Mr. Ross !!!
