i dont understand why we run so many 3 and 4 wide sets. why would we sign beasley one of the best fullbacks in the nfl and then cut him. i though it was because barnes was playing well, but it seems like saban doesnt trust barnes becuz hes never in the game. i hate how we never line up in the strate i formation or the strong or weak i, with a fullback. its ridiculous, u put a fullback in front of ronnie n let him run. i feel like im watching the soft as hell colts, becuz all we do is pass and never run it on anything more than 3rd and 1, its embarissing and ridiculous. on the plus side, i did see barnes make a few nice blocks this past game so hopefully he will play more next week

News flash: we ran for over 100 yards yesterday, 5.8 ypc. But I have to agree Barnes doesn't seem to be very involved.

We need Welker in at the slot. He is a weapon. Our Oline is soft and we won't be able to run much better with a FB in. All that will do is keep Welker out of the game. And let's face it. Right now Welker is our best receiver. Chambers needs to go somewhere else. He would be perfect on the Rams to replace Bruce and compliment Holt. Linehan is the only guy who got much out of Chris.

Chambers is easily replaced with Hagan, who is pretty much the same type of WR.

Dont forget when they put Randy in the FB position and then run ronnie... That still makes no sense to me. Randy cant block for anything. I miss Konrad, Great Blocker, Big enough to get an easy couple on third and shorts, and best hands of a FB I've seen in awhile.

Barnes when he was in the game was doing good and I noticed that they stacked the line with tight ends whenever they were going to run the ball.

I don't know what Y'ALL saw, but I saw Barnes laying key blocks on quite a bit of Brown's longer yards.

Actually, more times than I can count, mularkey lines up in shotgun on second and third in short.. such an idiot he is. The worst part is I get to listen to the bills sports radio laughing at us because we hired him. They're 2-4 and laughing at us everyday -- and you know what? I can't blame them.

No reason we can't run out of the I and also PA to McMike/Chambers, but I still think the base set of this years current Fins team is best using 3 WRs.

we are deep at WR. Barnes hasnt been great thus far. and Ronnie runs better out of single back sets. Barnes was good agaisnt the jets tho.

We finally started using the FB yesturday. It was nice to see MM knew what one was...

Barnes aint all that great, to be honest. He's solid but unspectacular, and not really good enough to drive the offensives tendencies towards I-Form play.

We didnt use Barnes alot yesterday, but what we did use was noteworthy- Jason Rader. Most of the snaps yesterday were in 2-TE sets, with Jason Rader motioning into the backfield as an H-Back/Fullback at times.

I saw the same as you. A few times Ronnie was stuffed when he did NOT follow Barnes. However, I didn't see him in on a lot of plays.

I seen the same thing, Barnes is a solid run blocker. He drives LB's back and destroys the DB's.

Barnes played well!

I think Barnees played great yeaterday. I saw him lay some key blocks.
