All i kept hearing since Ross became owner was that he wanted to make a splash and make a big hire for Head Coach and bring in star talent too. What was once high hopes for Cowher, Gruden, Fisher, Chud... is now basically another Tony Sparano.
Unfortunately i fear we wil be looking for another head coach in 2 seasons. I think with the easy schedule this upcoming year we may get lucky like we did in Parcells first season but the truth is we were no closer to being a Superbowl contender than we are now.

I wont mind when the Dolphins start crying next season that nobody goes to the games or supports the team.... I look at it as why throw away money.
 
I don't think a coach is going to fill a stadium at this point, not even Cowher or Gruden.

A quarterback will fill the stadium. I think Ross has figured this out and I am very optimistic that the QB position will be addressed very aggressively this offseason.

its funny how you are already giving up on our coach before we even hire one.... typical finheavener
 
wins are what will bring fans to game, besides we've seen a few "splashy" hires crash and burn the last few years
 
This is the most underwhelming coaching search of all-time. I would rather have Sparano back instead of the garbage they are bringing in.
 
If you want to find the splash, look in Mr. Ross' toilet.

LOL... i was just quoting our owner who said he wanted to make a splash....... the only splash that Ive seen is the dump they have taken on our team

Yup, why people can't seem to equate losing and lack of fans in the stands is beyond me. Are they supposed to show up for the B list celebrities, orange carpets and dance clubs??? It's not like it's been a couple years. It's been over a decade. No excuses...win with some consistantcy and the fans will pay the ridiculous prices to show up at the games.
 
I've pretty much given up the crusade.

At least now, I know that I won't have problems getting seats when I fly down for a game ... pretty much any game. :idk:
