I wanted the big tuna to lead the fish but I guess he is done with coaching now. Cam I hope was a good choice Ill answer that question next year. I did like what I read about his philosphy of building a team which basically was start with your lines

Ken W. had no appeal to me. Pitts offense never impressed me a bit. So knowing we had a defensive guru signed already, I was hoping for Cam. Specialists on both sides of the ball at the top. I like our chances even though it might take a couple of years to get the roster right.

I went with Cam. Four of the coaches have a shot IMO. Whisenhunt, Phillips, Petrino and our Cam. Tomlin has a rough first year but if he adjusts well could have a good second year. Kiffin should be a bust. Phillips gets no respect but this could be the perfect opportunity to resurrect his career. The Cowboys are close to having a SuperBowl caliber team. Petrino intrigues me. He's boom or bust. Whisenhunt built a nice staff in Arizona and they need one good draft and they'll be in the playoffs. It certainly helps being in the weak West. And Cameron, well who knows, I like the pick. So far my only gripe is losing Quinn and not being able to bring in an offensive coordinator

Kiffin should be a bust

No ****. Its going to be a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time before that franchise smells success.

I pulled for Wisenhunt, Cameron was my second choice.
We made a good move in bringing in Cameron.

Man, this is such a tough question to answer. I'm not really sure who is the best of those six. I'm hoping that the Phins made the right choice but honestly, I have no idea if they did nor not. Only time will tell, anyone that actually thinks they can predict which one was the best hire right now is fooling themselves. There is no way that we can accurately be assured of the success of six guys that have never been head coaches in the NFL. It's just a guess.

ATL - Bobby Petrino: College Coaches rarely succeed right away if ever, so at best the Falcon fans will have to wait a few years.

AZ - Ken Whisenhunt: With him, we were going to have yet again, another pound it in their face, very boring Offene, no thanks.

OAK - Lane Kiffin: Way to young, and will take his lumps before you see any improvement.

PITT - Mike Tomlin: This would have been a great hire also, but we need someone offensive minded, considering we already have a great Defensive Coordinator.

Fins - Cam Cameron: Helped develop two QBs in SD, one (Brees) of which did very little, until Cam worked with him. He turned the Chargers into a very exciting and great offense, and if you consider who the HC was (Marty Ball?), to make it such an exciting offense was a great feat.

Dallas - Wade Phillips: As a Coordinator he is above average, as a HC....well lets just say he is not his Father, just ask the Bill fans. They needed a great Offensive coordinator to balance what wade will do wil the D, they didn't, so they will struggle.

I think Cameron and Tomlin will both have success as head coaches, but for our needs, Cameron is a better fit. Now we have a good offensinve mind in Cameron, and we saw what Capers did with the defense last season, so I have confidence that the defense will continue to succeed.

I believe we got the best coach IMO. He is a good offensive coach we have been needing that since the 90's and we got a good defensive cordinator (Capers). So if the pieces fall together in 07 we will be in good shape. I think it was a smart move by WH.

Iam on the record for wanting tomlin and singletary before they got hired by their respected teams,, whatever, thats what i wanted but i will support my new coach with an open mind
