Ogunleye, Knight, or Surtain? or another?

And take into effect salary and age and not just ability...

Considering how horrible our secondary has been this year, I'm going with Surtain. He's an excellent player at a position that has been suspect to say the least. Keeping O-gun would also have been nice though.

I can't particularly say I miss any of them I'd have to say Tim Bowens retiring.

Two questions that pass through my mind ( I agree with you though )

Surtain, worth the cap room?

O-gun, would he have wanted to stay if he had gotten to know this new coaching staff?

I'd still say Surtain since our d-line still gets a nice push.

One that's often overlooked, however, was Trace Armstrong's departure in 2001. That left Jason unable to really get a good pass rush in 2001 since Bromell and Mixon stunk.

you don't miss Surtain? whether or not it had to be done (it did), I would think you'd at least miss the best corner we've had in recent years.

our d-line is still great, it's our secondary that's struggling tremendously. ogunleye or bowens would be nice, but we don't need them by any means. surtain would be nice, knight is no better than what we have

We could have used Bowens this year, definitely.

He was going to leave this year anyway. I do miss him I guess but the Fins players have aged simply for the most part, not left.

Oh I know he was going to leave. He would have been impossible to keep. But every time our corners get beat I sigh. hehe.

Surtain, Armstrong, and Ogunleye in that order.

Surtain had to go for the money and the draft pick. I hated to see him go but Wanny and Speil didn't leave us in good shape.

Armstrong was an animal for us, and made JT's life easier. I think he got hurt right after he left.

Oguleye was another Stupid Wanny/Spiel move. This guy wanted to be a Dolphin, he could have been signed to a reasonable contract the year before he left bet Wanny/Spiel were to stupid to make the move.

considering the weeks leading up to ogunleye's trade, i don't think he really wanted to be a dolphin. booker is good though
