Obviously this roster is due for a huge overhaul. I hope Dallas Thomas is part of the jettisons. Also I think OV and Lamar Miller will both be leaving in FA
Which Dolphins Players Are Playing Their Last Game as Fin Week 17?

The new coach needs to convince Lamar Miller to stay. He's a stud. Mandatory. He may be unhappy about some things but the argument is that was a different coaching staff and we will be upgrading the offensive line. The new coach needs to reason with him. He's a major, major talent. This would be a devastating loss.
I hope we keep Olivier Vernon. Young DE in his prime. The last 9-10 games of the season, he's been really strong. Good for him.
Even if Dallas Thomas can be a backup on a roster it needs to be somewhere else. Fox has to go. No more b.s. Get a legit backup swing tackle talent with long arms and athletic feet.
Honestly, the Dolphins have some young talent. They need to build on the young talent they have and add to it with more impact talent. Picking high in the first, second and third rounds gives them three high picks. Add a couple of nice free agent signings and you could infuse five key new players plus a number of second level pieces in the offseason.

What do you think about OV and Miller. I assume you think we will retain them. How about Grimes?
Grimes? I think it depends on whether we draft Ramsey or Hargreaves. If we do, he is gone for sure. I think the team wants to move on. He cant cover the WRs in our division.

I completely agree....I guess the concern I have is will they.
I also agree on this. His inability to play on the LOS is hurting us.....and frankly he is probably our best DB which shows you how bad things have gotten. I would love to get rid of that drama as well....

Good bye and good riddance to Jamar Taylor, Dallas Thomas, Greg Jennings, and Kelvin Sheppard.
Best of luck to Rishard Mathews, Matt Moore, Jordan Cameron, and Earl Mitchell, their contributions are appreciated but their roster spots aren't necessary and we can save some cap space.
Grimes and Wake, I'm not sure about but we definitely need them. There are major concerns about their contracts and their ability to contribute at a high level still, but releasing them would leave huge holes (especially if we can't resign OV and we move on from Jamar Taylor)
We absolutely have need to sign OV and Miller. No questions asked.
Of course there will be plenty of 2nd and 3rd string people churned, but I'll save my breadth.

You mean to limit worthless carries and prevent an career ending injury in a worthless game? Miller should be thanking him.

Thanking him for reducing his carries, which will reduce his chances of another 1k season, which decreases his chances for a bigger contract with another team? Yeah, i'm sure he's happy about that.
You can add wake (2 years too late) and Misi to that list. I also think Sheppard, Taylor and Williams at the minimum. Would be a mistake of epic proportions to lose Miller.
