For years, it seemed as though the Miami Dolphins’ drafts were average at best. Yes, there were players here and there with elite talent, but overall there were more busts than NFL greats , of that can be credited to everyone’s favorite general manager, Jeff Ireland. Ireland hit on a few prospects, but overall failed miserably at turning the Miami Dolphins into a winning organization. Enter Adam Gase. With Gase’s arrival a season ago, Miami’s roster has continued to improve in all areas. On paper, Miami’s 2017 draft could become one of the better drafts in recent team history. Which begs the question, which Dolphins’ rookie will have the biggest impact in 2017?

If you go by the reports coming out of camp, I would have to say McMilllan. But i hope it is Asiata because we really need his help.

McMillen. He is the answer in the middle of the defense the Dolphins have missed since Zach left.

A base lb unless he plays in the nickel isn't more valuable than a sub edge provided he eats in his sub run.

A 3 down lb yeah that's likely more valuable than a sub edge rusher only but miamis gonna be in the nickel a ton and mcmilllon barring injury won't be on the field then.

McMillan is no surprise. It was expected. He's just that talented. Fortunately his talent went over looked by 31 other teams. Harris on the other hand has been what the F/O thought he'd be so far. Many of us fans had mixed emotions about him, but all are quite happy with the early reports on Harris' abilities so far. But to me it's been Devon Godchaux, who's been the biggest surprise. No one ever expected Godchaux, who was a hot and cold player in college; to challenge for a starting position. If Miami hits on McMillan, Harris, Godchaux and potentially Asiata. This may turn out to be an all time Miami draft class?

If the mike lb is killing it in base the automatic counter from the opposition is going to be the nickel. And I fully expect that adjustment should McMillan play a high level base to come real quick gameplan wise from ocs.

I'm pulling for Godchaux & Taylor...Taylor's a good pocket collapser while Goddy is a good run stopper. Hopefully, their pairings a god-send
