I'm loving me some scott mckillop.
sure handed tackler, with a 6'2" 240, he's close to the right size now.
seems to find a way to tackle for a loss, and can get to the qb for a sack to boot.

which ILB are you high on and why?

these of course are all seniors, I didn't include any underclassmen, because frankly I haven't done enough homework on them.

don't forget to vote finfans!!!

if we can get him with our 1st rd pick...i'd love to have Rey Maualuga as one of our ILB...i feel we can build our defense around him...that dude brings serious heat when he tackles, and in the few Southern Cal games i watched this past season...he didn't let the ball carrier get past him...to me he's got that Ray Lewis/Pat Willis feel to him...

love to have rey too.

for the sake of the poll, we will all of course have to assume/pretend that the first rounders fell to 25.

thanks!!

I like Tyrone McKenzie from USF a lot.

J.Brinkley in the mid rounds because Rey Rey won't be there for our pick and this brings alot of talent at great value.

I'm not talking first round here.... but i am big on Jason Phillips.... he is a thick 6'1 ILB with great instincts and aggressiveness, gets into the backfield making plays, has good strength, and shed very quickly, and is a sure tackler that plays great angles..... may not be the greatest of coverage ILB's though, but has decent speed.

I hate Maualuga...but frankly he is the best out there right now. I would rather have Herzlich...but he didn't come out. Either did any of the other underclassmen I have been interested in...so, stuck with Rey. (McKillop would be nice if he is big enough for the NFL...might have us another Zachy...)

Laurinaitis. I'm assuming Rey won't be there when we draft. Laurinaitis is the prototypical 3-4 inside linebacker for the system we are trying to run. Good size, good instincts, good leadership, passionate, and makes plays. I think he would be a very safe pick. However I'm not sure if the trifecta will want to use a 1st round pick on an ILB.

is any one but the most overrated lb in the country a choice. and by that i of course mean the can't shed block, out of position, and ghost in any game that matters, future bust James Laurenitis
