Rank your position order from the weakest to the strongest.

Mine is:

1.-CB
2.-S
3.-OL (In General)
4.-TE
5.-QB
6.-DE
7A.-LB
7B.-DT
9.-K/P
10.-WR
11.-RB

1. Te
2. Qb
3. Ol
4. Cb
5. S
6. K/p
7. Dt
8. De
9. Wr
10. Lb
11. Rb

QB/LT would be my top weakness. It remains to be seen whether or Vernon Carey will be a viable LT. As far as QB, the jury is still out on whether or not we're getting Trent Green, what to do with Culepper, and Beck still hasn't thrown a single NFL pass yet.

Mine is:

2.-CB( i think we'll actually be ok if TD takes a big jump and becomes the number 1 corner like i think he can be)
1.-S( i believe they said jason allen will be playing mostly conrner which is good i think bell will have a good year if he starts but i def think this is our number one)
3.-OL (In General)- pete kendall would be so nice
5.-TE - if david martin stays healthy he can be a reliable target im not worried about TE
11.-LB - you have this listed b4 QB i think we have the best LB core in the league. when JT lines up at olb we have 3 all star linebackers
9.-DE - i think the combo of JT and Roth is gonna be good
4.-QB - how is this not listed higher Cleo Lemon is not a big league starter, beck cant start yet, and c-pep is whatever, if we get green i see this being 7 but not now.
6.-DT - can these young guys from last year's draft step in and play well.
7.-K/P - feely good, whos our punter?
10.-WR - speed! finally Chambers Ginn Booker really good starting 3
8.-RB
Right now i think we need a back up if ricky shows up then were fine but idk if booker is a number 2 RB

Miami has a gaping wound at LT. Right now, the best that can be hoped for is that Carey can be "serviceable" or "adequate". If he can't attain that level, it's not going to matter who the QB is because probably whoever starts the season will probably end it on IR.

My thought is that Miami thought to take a LT in the first two rounds of the draft, but their likely prospects, Levi Brown and Joe Staley, were both gone early. I think the Fins ended up without a LT early because nobody expected Cleveland to grab Joe Thomas rather than Brady Quinn or somebody else with a big name. With Thomas gone, Arizona grabbed Brown ... and Staley went at the end of the first round ... just my opinion but it seems to fit with Miami jettisoning so many of last year's OL.

your analysis is alright excpet you say our QB situation is stronger than our LBs, dont agree with that

I don't know how anyone cannot pick either Offensive line or QB.. Our weakest area is offense .. And of that offense, the entire O-line sucking for so long and not having a good Qb for so long.

My answer isn't on there.

The entire offense. We suck at so many positions on offense, that it's hard to say just 1.

Clearly its TE and S

LOL .. So you'd rather have a Pro Bowl S and Cleo Lemon at QB ? Or would you rather have a Pro Bowl QB with Hill at safety ?? I think our team would be much better off with the Pro Bowl QB.. The rest of the defense is very good and can cover for Hill.

Actually you are right, didn't notice that I put QB stronger than LB (having Thomas, Porter and Crowder), though I consider the LB position a strong one is not ine the top 3 due to the ages... (I'm also considering ages)

But you are righ I'm gonna edit it right now...

I hate the moving of Carey to LT. He and LJ Shelton finally found there spots on the right side and were very good at it. Why break that up Cam, why? :shakeno:

I think we're pretty good all over actually, with CB and OG being our weakest points.
Say what you want about the QB's but Daunte could be great if he stays, but if he doesn't then we're about guaranteed to get Green who could run the system very well. Lemon has shown he can handle a start in a hostile environment (nearly upset the champion Colts) and Beck, while raw and young, has the poise and accuracy to at least not lose games for us.
Up front we've found our starting tackles and we know Rex Hadnot will hold down a spot, whether center or guard. Most likely center, which leaves our guard spot as the weakest.
We don't have any big name TE's, but having a great tight end isn't necessary to win. It helps, sure, but it's more of an added bonus than a requirement.

On defense Hill and Bell played very well the end of the season and our front seven is among the best in the league. Matt Roth could be a weak link due to inexperience as a starter but his aggression and motor are undeniable. CB is the weakest position on paper, but we'll have to see if Jason Allen steps up and plays his actual position to the best of his abilities.
