I feel very confident that Nick's going to take somebody from his old squad.

Which draft prospect out of LSU is most likely to be a phin next year?

This is not intended to be a "Go Spears, Webster and Wilkerson!!!" thread.

Think more along the lines of day 2.

More realistic.

actually i think Nick won't necessarily draft anyone because they are from LSU.... he might grab a guy as an UFA from LSU that he thinks has promise but was unnoticed....

but i don't see any "preferential treatment" just because he used to coach them... he probably will go for whoever offers him the best "value" at that position...

id say give marcus randall a shot...id love to have a running qb..if not let him take snaps on the practice squad..

Lionel Turner, LSU's middle linebacker, could be a round 6 or 7 pick.

He's huge. 6'2 260.

That could be the big middle in our 3-4.

Let Zach do like Bruschi.

This middle linebacker from LSU is the heaviest in the draft by 10 pounds.

CB Travis Daniels is a possibility as well. He's 6'1 195 lbs and according to TSN, he is a good bump & run corner.

Travis Daniels, CB, 6' 5/8'' 194 lbs

Travis Daniels - Has good size 6'1" 200 lbs, is a very smart football player, shows good technique,is versatile played both CB and Safety. Will probably play Safety in the NFL due to his lack of speed. Should go off the board somewhere around the 6th round.

lol definitely not him...i'd rather have jason white then him

Wilkerson--his injury will make his pickup good value in the late third or early fourth.
Daniels--could be moved to free safety

I saw draft Jason White and I started to say Buddwalk has taken too much Budha, but then when I saw who you would rather have him over I agreed and started :roflmao:
