Which Other Teams

I made a vow to whomever out in the Cosmo would listen, and had the power to influence it, that I'd always root for the Giants, except against Miami, if they stopped the Patriots from going undefeated.
I guess I'm still bound to that vow, even though I really don't root for them. The only teams I root for other than Miami are the team's that, by winning, help Miami.

Anyone who is playing either of the other three teams in the AFCE.

Well, the Dolphins are rather incosistent, so when they aren't properly fulfilling my masochistic desires, I like to go root for the Browns a bit.

I don't really have any other teams I cheer for regularly. Sometimes I'll have other players I root for, and by extension the teams they play on, but even then it's not like I watch many of their games. I'll just hope they make some great plays if they are on while I'm watching. Off the top of my head some of them would be Jerome Bettis, Josh Cribbs, JJ Watt, Peyton Manning, and(OP will like this one :thumbsup) Aaron Rodgers.

I am a Giants fan due to saving the leagues asses by beating the Pats a couple times in the super bowl.

I am a packers fan by living in this state.

I low key like the Raiders and San Diego a bit but not sure why. Maybe for LT in San Diego but the Raiders is confusing to me.

I also don’t hate the Steelers. Jerome Bettie did that one.

I used to like Mike Alstott and the Bucs a long time ago because I was learning about Czonka and Kiick and Morris at the time and was overall beginning to understand the game of football. Also the Bucs won one around that time with Gruden

I also credit the Bucs of the early 2000s and Jerome “The Bus” Bettis for inspiring old school hard nosed football in me. I consider myself an old soul when it comes to offense and I love a bruising back. Also great defense was something those two teams always had as well

The NYG should really be the only acceptable answer. Don't feel bound to that vow, you should proudly own it. What they did for us is more meaningful than anything we've done for ourselves in the last 25 years.

All Hail the New York Giants.

My wife is a Giants fan (North Jersey raised) and I am thankful everyday that she's not a Jets fan. Although even if she was, she would literally not have one thing to brag about.

If I had to pick a new team because Miami just wasn't an option, I'd begrudgingly follow Oakland/Las Vegas.

I used to admire Al Davis's anarchistic ways. It was always the Raiders vs. the entire world in his mind and that's how I see my Dolphins.

Despite my glowing endorsement above of the NYGiants, on game day, I would try to trounce them just like I would anyone else.

I have a soft spot in my heart...and possibly my head...for the Eagles. Spent a large chunk of my youth in the South Jersey area.

Growing up in Pennsylvania, my NFC team has always been the Eagles... all the way back to when Roman Gabriel was QB. Have been some interesting trading between the Eagles and Dolphins over the years. Thought it was great to see them win their first Super Bowl against the effn Patriots!

I will always root for the Miami Dolphins exclusively, but I just moved to Cleveland and will root for them too since I love a good underdog. But no team will ever come close to the love I hold for my team.

Lions and Cardinals. Have always loved them as NFC underdogs— i.e. “lovable losers”— since I started watching football in the early ‘80s. Never had a problem rooting for the Dolphins against them head-to-head though.

Dolphins and Cowboys fan since mid 70's......I played HS football with Emmitt Smith, so the Cowboys are my 2nd favorite team.
