When you consider the moves we made in free agency, trades or draft, which one would you consider the worst? At the time I was very upset of the two big trades we made. Thought we gave up too much on the trade with the eagles and the trade to get Carroo. Not upset about the philly trade anymore. I believe we got lucky that Tunsil fell to us so no harm done there plus Alonso has been good. Maxwell has been up and down but other than the contract I guess it's ok for now. The Carroo trade still bothers me. I like the player but gave up way too much imo. Having said all that, Mario Williams has been imo the biggest disappointment. I wasn't expecting him to be great but was hoping for at least good. He hasn't been and at this point I'm hoping he's gone after this year. Jones hasn't done anything either and DE has to be a priority in the off season. Thank God Wake has played well.

Ozzy rules!!

Caroo is a work in progress. Too early to tell.
Perhaps the biggest mistake would appear to be Mario Williams. He has had some moments but we need to see more. We have done better than expected from Branch and that has offset the Williams shortfall.

Should have kept Matthews instead of drafting Carroo. Especially trading up for carroo. I didn't particularly like the Kenyan Drake pick. Would have been better to get a pure RB instead of a tweener. I was pulling for Miami to sign Chris Long and not Mario Williams in the offseason

to concur with Spike and SCLSU,

Williams is the biggest FA mistake we made in a league where if you're not coming back from an injury, or are a rising star, you really are only as good as your last performance. The FO should have known better. They gambled on Kiko and won, gambled on Maxwell - and the verdict's still out although I believe he cost us a game so far and have gambled on Williams and lost. They can't afford to play high stakes poker and merely hope lady luck smiles on us. Sorry.

Matthews is going crazy with Mariotta. 7 TDs in last 8 games; about 190 total yds in the last 2 games. He already had established a chemistry with Tannehill and coming into the season, Tannehill needed all the support he could get! I hope Carroo turns out to be a real stud, but his cost of acquisition has partially mortgaged next season's draft. Considering TBum is known as "Trader Mike," I'm concerned he's not done yet.

Matthews wanted starter money and wanted to be a starter. Matthews would still be #3 or #4 on this team. Would it have been nice to keep him? Absolutely. But it just never was going to happen.

Williams so far seems to be the biggest letdown, but would not be surprised if he starts paying off if we make a run in December. If motivation was truly an issue, nothing like a playoff run....

Carroo I'm fine with for now, because I like the idea of going after specific players in the draft they really believe in vs settling , which is exactly what that trade was about.

Kiko and Maxwell trade I've always liked, the price of a few draft spots is only that valuable if you need em to get your man. Philly did, we didn't...but surely needed an MLB and corner.

Hard to call anything a mistake when youre winning...

I'll wait till the season is over I think.

I'd say not re-signing Rishard Mathews was our biggest mistake. While I think Caroo has a lot of potential and might easily one day make this a moot point, I think Mathews was Tannehill's safety net so removing that set us a back a bit on offense.

Obviously looking back we don't have the need for what Mario Williams has provided but I am still ok with the move as it was an aggressive acquisition and provided depth at a very uncertain position.

I'd take one more offseason like last year where we were able to find upgrades at numerous spots.

I am not sure there have been any mistakes. All of these decisions are risk versus reward, and most of them have panned out. I am not a fan of trading up during the draft, so I guess I will pick that. The Eagles trade has been such a stunning success that the effect of trading up is minimized.

Fans tend to ignore things like the salary cap, too bad the NFL doesn't afford the Dolphins organization the same luxury .

we couldn't pay Rishard, and Caroo will be good down the road

He also had trouble with the last playbook. I can only imagine how much trouble he'd have in this system.

Not hard to do when the WR core for that team isn't anything to write home about.

When you consider we replaced OV with Williams and the costs and contract terms associated with both, I don't think it was a bad move at all. Williams will be gone, hopefully Branch will be back, and we have money that would be potentially locked up with an above average DE in OV who would be getting paid elite DE money.

I'm good with Williams when you consider that.
