Of course it depends on who we draft in round 1 but who are some of your favorite prospects at 48 who will realistically be available? Here are some of mine.

DB Trey Amos - SEC First Team Defense - He tested very well at the combine 6'1 195 4.43 40 - 50 tackles - 4 TFL - 3 INT

S Xavier Watts - AP First Team Defense - 82 tackles - 4 TFL - 6 INT - 13 INT in 23 and 24 combined

OG Jonah Savaiinaea - One of the best testing OL at the combine - 6'4 324 - 4.95 40 - 1.72 10 yard split - 33.88 arm - All were better than Campbell

OT/OG Wyatt Milum - AP Second Team Offense - 6'6 313 - 5.28 40 - 1.84 10 yard split - 32.13 arm - His combine numbers suggest he should play OG in the NFL.

DT Darius Alexander - One of the best testing DL at the combine - 6'4 305 - 4.95 40 - 1.72 10 yard split - 28 bench - 7.60 3 cone - 34 arm - 40 tackles - 8 TFL - 3.5 sacks

DT Alfred Collins - AP Second Team Defense - 6'6 332 - 34.63 arms - 55 tackles - 6 TFL - 1 sack - Seems like a NT with that size. Not much of a pass rusher.

DT TJ Sanders - 6'4 297 - 50 tackles - 7 TFL - 4 sacks

DT Ty Robinson - Big 10 Third Team Defense - 6'5 288 - 4.83 40 - 1.71 10 yard split - 28 bench - 7.58 3 cone - 37 tackles - 13 TFL - 7 sacks

Andrew Makuba S Texas, big hitter good coverage guy, playmaker

Tate Ratledge- G Georgia, experienced, tough, plays with an edge. I think he was first team All SEC this year?

Gunner Helm TE Texas, Elijah Arroyo TE Miami, both are better receivers than blockers but both have the size and athleticism to be all around TEs, big upgrades over the UDFAs we have backing up J Smith, who has one year left on his contract

Maxwell Hairston CB Kentucky- Tested great at combine. Played 7 games last year bc of a shoulder injury but was all SEC second team in 2023. Has 3 career pick sixes

Benjamin Morrison- CB Notre Dame. Injury concerns may knock him down but should be recovered from week 7 (2024) hip injury. lot of experience at corner for ND, has 10 PBU's in 2023 and 9 career picks. First round talent, would be a bargain if hip checks out

Possible that a really good DT like Kenneth Grant slips, doubt it but I like Grant (not in first round) and Tenn DT Omarr Norman-Lott

Not a bad list.

I forgot to add

OG Tate Ratledge - AP Third Team Offense - 6'6 308 - 4.97 40 - 1.72 10 yard split - 7.38 3 cone best among all OL.
I wanted to add

LB Carson Schwesinger UCLA walk-on linebacker had a big '24 season with 136 tackles, 8.5 TFL, 4 sacks, Two INTs, and a blocked punt. guy does it all. would be great to have a young all around talent at backer next to Brooks

Tate Ratledge- G Georgia, experienced, tough, plays with an edge. I think he was first team All SEC this year?

Mukuba might slip to us at 98.

I also like Ratledge and he should be available at 48.

Hairston would be a good pickup and DB is now a huge need.

If we take a DT in round 1 I would like to trade down and take Harmon or if Graham somehow slips to us at 13. I think Collins in round 2 is better value than Grant in round 1.

I like your original list but was going to say Ratledge is a player I'd like at 48 if we do go OL at 13 and/or free agency

I’ve been all over the map at 13.

Should be good value in the 2nd, might have to move out for more…

Grant is a top 20 pick, hopefully to us at 13. Finding a NT with his size and speed that can pass rush is almost impossible to find

I have doubts that Makuba even gets to us at 48. The tape is too good, both at Clemson and at Texas. I agree Ratledge will be there and think we can get good DTs in round 2 and later. I've got to look at Harmon. I thought his fellow Duck DT Caldwell looked good at the Senior Bowl but he's probably a mid round pick.

This is checking out with reports I've seen since I read your post. I haven't seen him as high as 13 but he's def in most top 20 lists and he has rare burst for his size.
Walter Nolan is about 30 lbs lighter but also is mocked as a mid first to early second guy. Like Grant, he has tons of potential as a disruptive DT.

If Ratledge or Savaiinaea is there, I’d be all over them. I do not believe the latter will be there.
agreed, he looked good at the combine and in Mobile. I think he's part of the run on OL at the top of the second round. Teams like the Pats and Giants who didn't go OL in round 1
