Which players do you like at 48?

I was high on him coming into 2024, but he was really disappointing, and I question his focus and maturity, so I'd look elsewhere at 48.

Yeah I know his stamina is garbage and he’d slow down or take plays off towards end of the game. But man he’s a big man that can move and rush the passer when he’s on

My grandmother made them one time for us. Being from California, we had never heard of White Castle. But she was from NJ and knew how to make them. Delicious!
As a kid we'd go to White Castle because everything was so cheap. You'd spend $10 and get so much food. Great place to go when you'd get, "The Munchies". We called them "Murder Burgers", because they were known to help you, blow up the bathroom.

Those were fun times. On a side note, they sell White Castle burgers at the supermarkets now.

Yeah they are not the same lol just bought them the other week and they were so gross lol

Obviously depends on what we have done up to this point but a guy I’d throw in the mix is Azareye'h Thomas. Number 1, he’s a dog. Would bring some toughness at CB. Good length. And his hips are really really good. Really think he’s being undersold because of how bad the Noles were this past year and how much opposing teams avoided his side. Really good press man and showed he can play zone too.

There are too many options to list without leaving some good names out, but off the top of the dome…..

Gray Zabel
Landon Jackson
Xavier Watts
Wyatt Milum
T.J. Sanders
Benjamin Morrison
Jonah Savaiinaea
Marcus Mbow
Tre Harris
Carson Schwesinger
Mason Taylor
Az Thomas
Jalen Royals
Jack Bech
Tate Ratledge
Maxwell Hairston
Darien Porter

Too many. This is the money spot for value in this class, IMO. 20-100 we need more picks.

And I’m seeing Andrew Mukuba falling to the third round in a lot of mocks but he’s a player I absolutely LOVE and would be fine with taking earlier.

It would really suit the Dolphins to go DL at 13 (big fan of Kenneth Grant and Walter Nolen as immediate high impact/high snap count guys) and find value at OL/S at 48 andr 98……. Pending FA adds.

13 should be BPA. Gotta do some work in FA.

Of course it depends on who we draft in round 1 but who are some of your favorite prospects at 48 who will realistically be available? Here are some of mine.

DB Trey Amos - SEC First Team Defense - He tested very well at the combine 6'1 195 4.43 40 - 50 tackles - 4 TFL - 3 INT

S Xavier Watts - AP First Team Defense - 82 tackles - 4 TFL - 6 INT - 13 INT in 23 and 24 combined

OG Jonah Savaiinaea - One of the best testing OL at the combine - 6'4 324 - 4.95 40 - 1.72 10 yard split - 33.88 arm - All were better than Campbell

OT/OG Wyatt Milum - AP Second Team Offense - 6'6 313 - 5.28 40 - 1.84 10 yard split - 32.13 arm - His combine numbers suggest he should play OG in the NFL.

DT Darius Alexander - One of the best testing DL at the combine - 6'4 305 - 4.95 40 - 1.72 10 yard split - 28 bench - 7.60 3 cone - 34 arm - 40 tackles - 8 TFL - 3.5 sacks

DT Alfred Collins - AP Second Team Defense - 6'6 332 - 34.63 arms - 55 tackles - 6 TFL - 1 sack - Seems like a NT with that size. Not much of a pass rusher.

DT TJ Sanders - 6'4 297 - 50 tackles - 7 TFL - 4 sacks

DT Ty Robinson - Big 10 Third Team Defense - 6'5 288 - 4.83 40 - 1.71 10 yard split - 28 bench - 7.58 3 cone - 37 tackles - 13 TFL - 7 sacks
Agreed, it totally depends on what we take in Round 1. If we go OL in round 1, then Edge would be the logical to look at in round 2, however looking at the way to board may fall at the moment, I would lean toward edge in round 1 and OL in round 2. If we don't take OL in round 1 then Savaiinaea and Milum are both very good prospects.

Let’s hope a good starting guard or safety is available

Excellent list - especially with the addition of Ratledge.

I'd add CJ West, Terrance Ferguson, Harold Fannin Jr, Tre Harris, Jayden Higgins, Elijah Roberts, and Landon Jackson.
If Landon Jackson sneaks close to 48, he's someone I'd trade up for.

Higgins caught my attention at the combine and I went back and "scouted" him. Really think his game would complement Hill and Waddle. Higgins or Gadsden a little later. I think they are similar.

IMO with Miami having multiple picks in rounds 4, 5, and 7 we need to package those picks and move up in the 2nd/3rd rounds or add another pick in the 50-70 range. Give up a 5th and 7th along with our 3rd or 4th to get there. We could grab oline help, safety/db, and TE help with some great talent available.

To me it really doesn't matter. All I'll say is Grier is picking for his job. He has to draft 3 starters...PERIOD! And he has a QB that averages missing 5 games a season. You can't be in a position to get into and WIN a playoff game with that kind of pattern, so he better find a quality back-up.

Wow, I really don’t see it with Landon Jackson. I wouldn’t take him at 98.

Jackson reminds me of many pass rushers that get skipped over because of lack of bend or stiffness that ends up being really good in the NFL because of his hand technique and savviness.

What is it you really don't like?
