Which players do you like at 48?

Jackson reminds me of many pass rushers that get skipped over because of lack of bend or stiffness that ends up being really good in the NFL because of his hand technique and savviness.

What is it you really don't like?
He is weak. He brings a little bit as a pass rusher because he is long and bendy. Problem is he is really weak at the point of attack. He is easily displaced and moved. He is a big liability against the run. Plus, we have Chubb, Phillips, and Chop. He will be on the bench in Miami for sure.

No doubt, he's far from perfect. And definitely not saying Jackson is Crosby but the same was said about Crosby and other pass rushers too. I just think his hand usage is high level and I think that is extremely important because it's hard to teach his ability to counter. Not to say it's the only thing but definitely something I really like with him and intrigues me if he can get better at anchoring and adding some power to his game.

Yeah no expert on this by any means but who did Iowa State play last year...in terms of top Teams with decent QBs and wideouts?
That’s one of variables you can’t contextualize use unless there are layers and layers of insight and analysis

CB Darien Porter is probably going higher than pick #48. But if he's still available when Miami picks in round two, I'd think he'd be in serious consideration. He certainly has the size, it appears Weaver prefers.

I’m starting to think we get Will Johnson at #13

Really wish we would’ve ran at the combine
Like Watts at safety at 48 providing we don’t take Ommenwouri at 13. Good chance at 13 that Jeanty and Ommenwouri are there and teams want to move up to get them. If we can still get an olineman we want/Warren/safety or DB at 18-20 I would move back and get an extra 2nd rounder. Then pair the 2nd and our extra 4th or 5th and move back into the late 1st or early second and get another starter. Strong draft with depth at oline, safety, TE, and DB. Next year is pretty meh.
As far as Landon at edge from Arky I would not take him until late 3rd/early 4th. He has length but as stated above he is not strong at the point of attack. Check the senior bowl 1v1 drills and he was getting mauled consistently. I follow the SEC pretty much exclusively
