to be starters and should be given a chance to shine? I think Roth has a chance to be something special now that Carter is gone and I still feel that Pope could be something special if given the chance but I do not think he will get that chance. Most people think he is only a special teams maven but we all have our opinions. Our young DT's need to get a chance to show what they can do. I also hope that Vick gets a real shot at a WR or punt/kick return position because he has a lot of potential to be a good player for our team. I agree Vick is a fast and young kid that will end up being a really good player in the nfl

It doesn't matter what people think about Pope. He has played when Zach was injured, and he has played very well. The record,the facts, speak for themselves and noone with a brain argues the point.

He isn't Joey Porter, but has to be one of the best backup linebackers and special teams players in the league.

We don't need depth at LB. We need a pass rusher!

Vick is extremely fast, but he goes down real easy. It almost looks like he falls down if someone yells at him. Anyone who questions his speed is just ignorant and should be ignored.

I'm anxious to see Rod Wright in action. I see him and Manny as keys to the success of this years defense.
