Is he going to be left all the way or weak side in base and left in sub packages?

Also what was the offset language with Tannehill, just a club option?

In the base 4-3 i think he'll be the RDE and the other times i think he'll play 50% at both RDE and LDE.

In a base 4-3 LDE you need a guy that can hold up to the RT and and TE on running downs, and i think Wake could do that but if you want him going after the QB in the 3rd and 4th Q, then you don't play him there cuzzz he'd be spent and worn out by half time.

The good thing is we have like 4 or 5 guys that can play as a 4-3 LDE , and play it well.

And yes ,the offset language let's Miami cut him and if another team picks him up Miami doesn't owe him money.

Wake has been practicing at RE so far this summer and Jared Odrick has been manning the LE. I'm excited to see what our d-line can do!

Weak side DE which is usually at RDE since most teams run their offense right handed.

Would not be surprised to see him lined up at LDE in Nickel packages where he is more comfortable rushing the QB from.

Yeah most of the time Wake lines up on the weak side.

Wake will be moved around. RDE, LDE, SOLB, WOLB. There's a lot of versatility on that defense with a lot of different skill sets. I don't want to see Wake coming from only one side. He needs to constantly be moved around so it's harder for the offense to put a 2nd man on him.

Wake is the Right Defensive End
