Offense or defense? It is a simple question. Please abstain from answering if you are undecided or wish to give some answer along the lines of "ITS A TEAM GAME!!!" Everyone is aware of that fact. The question is which unit do you feel is MORE responsible for the team's failure so far. If you feel it is 50/50, just do not answer please. I did not include that as an option in the poll because it is a ridiculous answer. It is difficult to imagine that of all the possible percentage combinations, 50/50 would be anyone's sincere answer, should they give the question honest consideration.

Offense

Ranked 30th in PPG - 16.2
Ranked 25th in YPG - 314.8

Defense

Ranked 19th in PPG allowed - 25.2
Ranked 30th in YPG allowed - 399.5

The numbers can support an argument for either choice. I am choosing the offense based on the fact that our lone victory was delivered by a ST touchdown in a game where the defense only surrendered 10 points. The offense has also failed to score more than 20 points in any game. However, one can argue that the team has played some tough defenses the past two weeks, while the defense has yet to play what anyone would consider a strong offensive team.

In other words, there are some strong arguments available on both sides. What say you?

Defense. We are asking the 60 mil man to 2 gap. And that is completely ridiculous. He should be using the lethal first step and strength he has for penetration purposes. Same goes for the whole defensive line.

Both....team game and all

no ability to convert on 3rd down at all! That is a huge problem.

I blame the defense for putting us in a hole every week early.
I understand how bad the O has been especially at running the ball..
I dont know how the O would play with a lead.. would the run game actually work?
Who knows never seen it...
60% D 40% O.
I will say our new punter is solid

100 million dollar D being blown out by the Bills' Tyrod Taylor? I'll have to go with defense.

15 ppg scoring avg will give you a top draft pick every year and will get everyone fired most years.

No brainer imo.

I would day DEFENSE by far

BUT

Neither unit can compete on 3rd down.

Ryan Tannehill is just as much at fault as the defense.

Flawed poll, no option for the real culprit: The Fans.

I can not believe that I forgot about the fans. How dare they not show up last week to see the home opener vs. Buffalo.

Its the offense. Which is sad because the defense is actually trying to be the worst unit.

They both are terrible right now, but we sort of expected the offense to have issues due to the OL not being upgraded. The defense (minus a couple spots) were upgraded and should have been a lot better this year, so you have to assume they are the bigger problem right now.

So **** ing sad that on a 1-3 team, I can't even identify which unit suck more than the other, it's like they're competing each other to see who suck best...
