As much as I can't wait to see what Chris McCain can do in an expanded role, I have to say, I'm really excited about Jamar Taylor. He flashed some playmaking ability when Finnegan was injured last year, before he got injured himself.

Can't wait 'til camp later this week! It's like the week leading up to Christmas as a kid :hump:

About 50% of the roster.

And 100% of the team chemistry.

our 5th round rb pick from Boise st.

I agree with you, but I wasn't even thinking about rookies. I was thinking more about guys that have been on the team a year or two, but have a potential to break out, a la Jenkins from last year.

I hope michael thomas is healthy..
Im excited to see the lamichael james everyone was raving about
The 3rd tight end battle should be exciting
I hope walt Aikens shows well early

I think Bobby McCain has that "it" factor. He is the next Brent Grimes and could end up being better. He is a guy i want to see get lots of reps in camp and pre season games.

This is the thing a guy like him needs most, reps. I think he has all the tools, loves and understands the game and is all about football, agressive, driven and most of all, TALENT!!

He and Chris are my top two right now. Both are needed at their positions and if they play at a high level, its a big time boost for the defense. With BM, its all about reps. Lets see if this new commitment to developing young players is accurate or air.

I want to see our guards make us all eat crow. McCain is also intriguing.

First person that came to my mind was Chris McCain as he's one of the few "unproven" guys that looks to be set in a starting role. The other one is the other guy put into a potential starting role . . . . Jamar Taylor.

Guys, I'm going with Tannehill. I will get a ton of flack, but a lot of you know where I am coming from

I'm pretty tough on Ryan, but he certainly isn't "unproven".

If the thread title was "what player are you most excited for to take the next step" . . . then Ryan is your guy. You don't start 48 games in 3 years, improve all 3 years, put a more than 2 to 1 TD to INT ratio, more than 65% completion rate and 4000+ yards as a starting NFL quarterback and call the QB "unproven".

He doesn't fit the criteria for this thread.
