and SOMEONE chose Alex over the picks according to the handy-dandy pole, who was it, c'mon, fess up................lol
 
Tampa's picks no doubt about it.....Smith isn't NFL ready....and we have too many needs to take a bench sitter at that cost.
 
I would go with the picks. We definitely need more picks. Five just is not enough.
 
Definetly the picks..but saying that, I don't think Miami would get all 3 this year..either the 2nd or 3rd pick would be pushed off till 2006
 
Now, would you take those picks and pass on prospects like Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Mike Vick, David Carr, Carsib Palmer if given the chance?

If the answer is no, That in my opinion, would be a big reason NOT to draft Smith at number 2.. If he isnt worth forgoing picks over in your mind, he is not a gamebreaker and should not be taken number 2 overall in my mind..

Yet, apparently the Buccs are willing to GIVE UP some picks for him, so who knows.

No question! We get a rb/def player (anyone see Ricky coming back what with all 3 rbs not even being mentioned by Saban) we recoup the 2nd & we get a third.
