Which WR do we keep?

We have way too many right now.

Hartline Bess Gates Cunningham Matthews Wallace Moore Nanee

How can we possibly keep more than 5? Not to mention the amount of RB's and TE's we have.
 
I have a crazy idea, let's wait for at least training camp and then maybe go though preseason before we cut some of them.........
 
We won't. I like the strategy of bringing in a lot of guys to compete for the jobs instead of just having this level of entitlement and I don't really have to work hard attitude. The one's that work the hardest and perform the best will be the one's who are on the team. While I think Bess (unless he majorly screws up) will have a spot guaranteed, but just about everyone else is going to have to earn their spot. Same with TE and RB.
 
I'm with LUG. Let's see how they fit into the scheme and produce before giving them the axe.
How in the hell would anyone know at this point?
 
I dont think Moore makes the team , i think Matthews will be on the PS to help him develop

Nanee on the bubble as well.
 
I'd say the early favorites are Hartline Gates Bess Cunningham and Wallace. with Matthews sniffing. I really don't see Nanee staying, he just isnt talented.
 
Of the current roster, I think we keep these 5: Hartline, Bess, Nanee, Matthews, Cunningham.

I like Moore and Wallace, but Matthews is Marlon Moore + skills, so Matthews takes his spot. And Wallace hasn't produced much, so he will be PS'd or let go. Wallace could beat out Nanee or Cunningham maybe. But IMO, Matthews and Moore will be competing for the same role, and I think Matthews has way more skill (a little less speed, however).

What about Gates? and the more i think about it, the more i think matthews will make the team. He is a solid potential punt returner
 
Who the heck knows about the bottom tier players, Hartline, Bess and Gates are a sure bet.. Gates speed alone and one year in the league make him a definite, I mean he makes the other receivers look like they are standing still, if he can improve his route running he could be elite. I am hoping he has a break year this season..
 
Too me the fins WR's are in bad shape. The problem they always have had is separation. I'm tired of Moore and regular Wr's that dont' do squat. We could of picked up a vet WR or one in early in the draft. Ireland knew way in advance thay they were shipping Brandon Marshall off and made no plans to replace him...

You're not going to solve all the problems in one year. We're not competing this year.
