I don't know about him, I liked what he says about making schemes fit players instead of players fit schemes but the guy doesn't seem very confident in himself. Not sure if he would be getting in over his head here with all the problems we currently have. But here is his presser, equal opportunity for HC candidates!

Lebeau is telling Whizzy to be careful what job he takes

translation: go to the Phins!!!!!!!!

Why do you see that he doesnt seem very confident in himself?

LOL, not hating, you all can judge for yourselves that's why I posted the video so we could get everyones opinions. My opinion is that when he says thing like I hope theres a team out there that thinks i'm ready and things like you would like to think that i've learned something from Pittsburgh etc...instead of just saying "i'm ready" or "I have learned alot from Pittsburgh" that he comes off as lacking confidence.

Maybe the guy is just humble...don't know was hoping to hear others opinions as opposed to this though...

I think he is just being humbled by all of the interest he has garnered. Seems like he is intrigued by the young Arizona QB.

I still would like to get Cam Cameron over Wisenhunt. If you see his 30 minute interview that was up here earlier, he just seems very complete minded and ready for the task.:dolphins:

Yea, I agree about Cam, I posted that video and he came off as alot more confident and knowledgable to me. I have been digging up whatever I can find on these HC candidates and came accross this one as well, since Whisenhunt is another front runner here. Figured I would post it to spark some discussion and gain some insight as to why this guy would make a good coach.

It seems to me like Ken Whisenhunt might be interested in the Falcons job since he played at Georgia Tech and grew up in Georgia.

Who knows? He may not like the idea of working with Michael Vick. I'm sure he wants to know all about Daunte Culpepper's status and everyone else on the team.

I know Ronnie Brown would probably like to have a guy like Whisenhunt as the HC. Randy McMichael is a Georgia guy and Ken played TE and has been coaching tight ends, so I bet Randy would like Ken as the HC. I like the fact that he was a player in the NFL for 9 years and he has 10 years of NFL experience as a coach. Very nice to see. I also like the fact that he believes in running the ball and having balance between the pass and the run. It sounds like he could be a very strong prospect.

He probably has his choice of the Cardinals, the Falcons, the Steelers, and the Dolphins. He already turned down the Raiders once. I'm sure money will not be a problem the way Wayne Huizenga was talking. I really don't know that much about him really. I know I want someone who genuinely WANTS to be the Dolphins coach ... maybe for the next 5-10 if all goes well.

I hope Wayne has some really good, experienced advisors who will objectively look at all the guys out there and finds somebody that shows all the signs of being a success with the players we have right now. We'll have some cap room to bring in the kind of players he wants too. I bet Wayne Huizenga is burning the midnight oil with his staff trying to get the right guy. One of these days, the Dolphins will get another Don Shula. Hopefully this is the year.

Atlanta doesn't have any WR's, plus the owner is going to dictate that the new coach keep Michael Vick at QB so that he can sell more tickets. Miami is the better situation.

Could be wrong but i thought the owner just came out and said Vick would be the new HC's decision.
