What do you guys think of this guy? He is on ESPN right now and looks like he has alot of tools, throws an effortless ball, looks quick. One negative I've noticed is hes not a real good game manager, and his team has had alot of 3 and outs because he hasn't thrown the ball to a reciever who can get the 1st. He also sails the ball a bit high. I havn't seen too much of him since the 1st half but he is an intruiging prospect to keep an eye on this season.

I would love to get him, his dad played for the Packers. I have been saying for two years now, this guy is going to be a good pro.

He's always had the tools, but it's been a question of putting them altogether. When he first came to Clemson there was a lot of "future 1st round" fanfare because of the physical size and the tools, but he's been dogged with inconsistency. He's a top 60 talent at worst IF he can put it together from seasons start to seasons finish. He will have to prove it against Va Tech and Miami and FSU rather than just against Maryland.

I've heard alot abot him over the past year and made it a point to catch as much as I could of that game to see him. Maryland looks too strong for them to pull it out though

The positives are that you can probably get him in the 3rd round and perhaps early in the 4th!

The negatives are many though. He is very erratic. He often follows good play with poor play making you wonder if you'll always get the Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde bit. He's a developmental project no matter how you look at him. If you feel that Gus is the answer for 2006 and possibly 2007 (I do not) then he would be worth the look.

Good Post, until he turns it around he won't be getting picked higher than guys that continue to dominate college. Reminds me of a even worse decision making Jake Plummer..
