I’d love to know your reasons for why you renewed. What hope do you have that this can be turned around? Why continue to enrich a clueless owner? I don’t know about you all, but I refuse to spend a dime on this franchise until changes are made.

I renewed because I go with my son and we have a blast spending the day together. We’re friends with some people in our section and we bond over football. It’s about relationships. Also my measly dollars are nothing to someone with Ross’ wealth so any moral stance I would take with my seasons tickets would only serve to punish me.

But if someone felt differently and wanted to cancel I would understand and support that.

I renewed and have taken this announcement as a giant slap in the face.
It's too late to cancel because renewals were done in November
I won't be making the same mistake again in 2025 unless the season goes tremendously, which I highly doubt it will.

Combined my father and I (after his death) have been season ticket holders for over 30 years and through that longevity have meandered our season tix from the upper corner of the stadium to the 45 yard line. If I were to give up my season tix every year the Dolphins finish around .500 and miss the playoffs or whenever they keep a GM and/or head coach longer than I myself deem acceptable, I would still be in that upper corner once every 5 years or so that doesn't happen.

Ross owns the team, there's nothing that can be done about that. The team is what? The 17th most valuable sports franchise in the world? The team has had a season ticket waiting list for the past 2 seasons. Ross is doing quite well and whatever protest you can think of will do very little IMO. Like any player or coach, the Dolphins will outlive Ross (admittedly it is a much longer term for Ross, but no person lives forever). Until he sells or morbidly speaking, he dies, he will do what he wants as owner of the Dolphins.

So no, I'm not giving up the seats 2 generations of my family have loyally kept to be in the position I'm in now because an 84 year old owner has decided to keep on a GM who shouldn't have the job.

Update on this
My season rep told me this morning, as i was expecting, my season tickets cannot be refunded.
He wouldn't say it outright but it sounds like the news last night has had them busy with inquiries this morning.
2025 has the chance to turn the fanbase toxic quick and Ross will have no one to blame but himself.

There are a lot of fans who don't take the losses as hard. They're super positive. The first dude who comes to mind is Kickball Dad. I don't see him ever saying a bad word about the Dolphins.

Also, there are those who have had them in the family for many years and giving them up would be betraying their dead relative who originally purchased them.

I made the decision weeks ago not to renew. $500 increase from 2023 to 2025 seemed outrageous given the product we've seen on the field. I'll miss my seats for sure but something tells me I won't have any issue getting individual game tickets in 2025 (perhaps even my old seats).
