Everyone loves the guys at the top of the draft, but who are some sleepers that impress you that you'd love to see be Dolphins? Everyone has some sleepers and I love being able to see guys who are projected to go in that 4th-7th round range that are gonna shock people. So post a prospect or however many you want and include a video, maybe a couple observations about the guy and why he's gonna be great. Here's mine who I just watched for the first time:

Branden Oliver, RB, Ohio

Reminds me of Zac Stacy from last year, a short back who has great lower body strength and has potential to be a 3 down player. Total bowling ball who could pass as MJD and I think would be a great fit here.

So fire away, nothing like saying you called it.

1. Spencer Long, guard, Nebraska
2. Kevin Norwood, wr, Alabama
3. Matt Pachman, tackle, BC
4. Rajion Neal, rb, Tennessee

All four of mine are late round picks, but I really think Long will be stud once fully recovered from a mid season injury.

I don't know how much of a sleeper he is at this point, but I like Cody Latimer at WR. He's very sudden and has good body control - naturally athletic, big frame, and his tests indicate that he's ever bit as explosive as he looks. Strong too - 23 reps with 32 5/8" arms is very good for a WR. Also ran a 4.38 and had a 39 inch vert. Big, productive, athletic. Apparently the advisory board gave him a 3rd RD grade, and it'll be hard but not impossible to break into the 2nd RD with this group of WR's, but he's a guy you have start stacking up against the Allen Robinsons and Jordan Matthews.

I'd definitely pick up FearTheBeard in the 4th or 5th. His beard alone would win us some football games

With you on Kevin Norwood. I also like TJ Jones of ND as a nice late round WR.

Note: I'm revising this list into a full day three list and basing membership of the list on which players are trading out of the top 100 on PlayTheDraft.com. That gives a better measure of who is likely to actually be available that deep in the draft and it makes it easier to just cross-reference it with my own board.

As a legitimate 5th-7th round guy I like Matt Patchan. I think he's finally put the injuries behind him, and the talent and athleticism is obvious. Very much a scheme fit and he's got a nasty streak in him. As an UDFA I like Allen Hurns at WR. He MIGHT go in the 7th, but nobody seems to think that at this point. Very productive WR. Doesn't have blazing speed or elite athleticism, but has excellent hands and strength, good size, and runs very good routes. He also has a very good work ethic. IMHO he could be groomed to replace Hartline in a couple years. He was a good security blanket for Stephen Morris the last two years.

Some of my former diamond in the rough players are being fairly rated nowadays so it's tough but I think these guys are probably still not being rated high enough:

QB: Connor Shaw, Brock Jensen
RB: Zurlon Tipton, James White, Branden Oliver
WR: Bruce Ellington, Robert Herron, Jeremy Gallon, Devin Street
TE: A.C. Leonard, Gator Hoskins, Nic Jacobs
FB: Roosevelt Nix (position switch)
OT: Billy Turner, JaWuan James, Cornelius Lucas
OG: Wesley Johnson
OC: Joel Bitonio (position switch)
DT: Beau Allen, Justin Ellis, Caraun Reid, Brent Urban, Kerry Hyder
DE: Ben Gardner, James Gayle, Larry Webster
PR: Jonathan Newsome, Trevor Reilly, Tyler Starr, Shaquil Barrett
LB: Shayne Skov, Telvin Smith, Christian Kirksey, Jack Tyler, Eddie Lackey, Kevin Pierre-Louis, Marquis Flowers
CB: Dontae Johnson, Ross ****rell, Chris Davis, Phillip Gaines, Shaquille Richardson, Jonathan Dowling (position switch)
DS: Terrence Brooks, Keith McGill (position switch), Alden Darby, Kenny Ladler

What is it keeping Devin Street from grading out higher on draft boards? He's got great size and been very productive in college, and there's an obvious pedigree for the big WR's out of Pitt. I know his 40 at the combine wasn't great (4.55). I'd love to hear a detailed breakdown on him. He could be a steal if he's still around in the 5th-6th.

I might be intrigued with a guy who won't be drafted but Jerrick McKinnon was a beast at the combine. 32 reps (most of any RB) 4.41 in the 40. He is very well built with good speed. Only problem is he never played RB he played QB in a read option Run heavy offense. I think he's a good project who could really pay off in a year or 2

Long's a guy I am yet to watch from the OL group, I've watched most but I'll fit him in next. Patchan tore up the combine so I'd be intrigued, with his injury history I'd still look at him in round 7. I'll add Neal to the list as I'm going through the RB's now.

I've heard good things about him and I'll get to him once I started going in depth with the WR's, seems like he's getting a lot of interest.

Right on, he's on my short list!

This is exactly what I was looking for...for the groups I've looked at that's where I have Lache's value at, I just think he goes higher. Same goes for West. I like Williams and Freeman as 3rd rounders but getting them in the 4th would be great fits. Sims I'm still trying to figure out, seems like a good all around player but nothing about him sticks out to me as more than a mid-rounder. As I mentioned really liked what I saw out of Oliver, I'll add the other guys to my list. Trai Turner I think is going to find himself in the 3rd round and I hope we take him.

Remember that membership of the group is based on a cross-referencing of my board with that of PlayTheDraft's. These are the players I would (as of right now) have on my draft board if the top 100 went exactly as PlayTheDraft predicts it to.

Personally I would draft Lache Seastrunk higher than Day 3 to make sure I got him because I think he's a special talent that could end up like a LeSean McCoy.

Ya Lache is one of those guys I'm not crazy about, but athletically you can't do much better in this draft. He just doesn't seem to be a natural back there, I see marginal instincts and he runs through massive holes in that Baylor offense. High ceiling, low floor to me and I probably wouldn't take a chance on him before someone else scooped him up.

With all that said I gotta keep watching him because he's one of those guys that if he turns out can make me feel real stupid haha.

Love the pick especially because I love seeing UB players selected in the draft (went to school there).

This is the kid I wouldn't mind seeing. Good kid and another local product. Solid rb. Could even get picked up as an UDFA.

Well I guess that's the thing about the draft we all see different things.

I love Lache Seastrunk's instincts. He's got the vision and instincts to get out of trouble in the backfield, seeing danger right as he's taking the hand-off. He finds his track very naturally and fluidly in the backfield and makes some of those holes look bigger and more obvious than they really were. He's somewhat of a dancer, but not where it counts. He's not a dancer in the backfield or behind the line of scrimmage. He's only a dancer beyond the line of scrimmage and when he's got space to work with, and he leverages that dancing around into HUGE gains at times. The cuts and burst this guy shows even in traffic when given a little room to work with are incredible. They're Matrix-like.

It's true that he's had more space to work with at Baylor and that's an issue. But there are offenses in the NFL within which he could operate and see that kind of spacing. The open spacing doesn't mean wide open holes. He regularly had to make free defenders miss inside the tackle box. The space was just a little more open as he had fewer blockers on his side and the defense had fewer defenders on their side, and so it was just a little less crowded.

That's where Tre Mason ends up looking a little better, comparatively. He had a more crowded box to work with, more blockers on his side as well as more defenders on the other side. But he also had the advantage of a lot of horizontal stretch and option concepts freezing some of those free defenders, giving Mason an advantage.

I just look at the natural skill sets involved with both guys, with all the guys. And I adore Seastrunk. I like them both. Take the Lache Ness Monster or Tre La Soul, doesn't matter to me.
