Like, additions to the team or things of that nature who played up to their potential a little? Gates, obviously showed some talent overall. I think Burnett looked great out there! In coverage, he was right out there with Dansby! Did well in other aspects too. Pouncey, for a rookie. I think the whole D-line really will gel soon. Odrick prevents somewhat of pass rush too, at times. Jimmy Wilson I think could eventually earn the nickle role... Sapp for now? Which is sad because Allen looked good in those games. We could have at least traded him! I hope Carroll stops having Jason Allen complex and could play up to his potential as well, he's a solid athlete!

I'm curious to see what we do with Clemons/Jones/Bell too. Could be interesting. I think Reggie really looked solid too, and why not keep Larry? I'll miss him (and Allen) in Madden already! I think all of receivers did as we expected them to do pretty much. Lastly, Henne, I believe showed some promise. I'm excited for this season!

Oh and I don't even think I need to mention the O-line. Shambles it seems like. I can't wait to have Long atleast. Maybe Pouncy can be okay, we need to hope! And for the love of god Carey is a veteran he should know what he's doing out there! I have no faith in Columbo either...

Wow I really went on to ramble about our whole team haha, I only wanted to mention a few! But our team is so young, it feels like they are all getting more experienced to a degree..
 
gates speed certainly stood out. Benny sapp showed some playmaking skills not many nickel cbs have. Hartline showed he still wants his #2 spot. Marshall showed he is alot more focused than last year and also showed improvent in speed. Reggie bush biggest stand out by far for me, guy comes from new orleans with something to prove, runs right up the middle bull dozing threw everything without any fear. Kevin burnett showed he is a huge upgrade over crowder, HUGE. Daniel thomas ran nicely between the tackles.
 
Burnett really impressed me and has reassured me that his great year was not just "playing for a new contract" type thing. Thomas showed improvement as the pre-season rolled on and you could see his vision and patience developing. Edds also showed to me that he can step up and fill in if one of our starting LBs were to go down. He is not flashy or an amazing athlete, but he seems to be around the ball carrier on most plays. Hartline also continues to prove his worth, showing that he is one of those "greater than the sum of his parts" type players.
 
Shoot man, too many to list stood out to me which has me excited about the season.

Who stood out in a bad way? Tyrone Culver.
 
Burnett, Henne, Marvin Mitchell, Bush. Marvin Mitchell is going to be a good player in this league.
 
I like what we did this preseason, lots of new faces making an impact and some old faces looking better.....
 
Henne and Burnett - but I have to say I loved seeing Marshall's focus and support of Chad. He seems like he's a changed man and ready to get it done. His body language and demeanor are a complete 180...
