By now everyone knows Butterfingers Hagan was released by our Miami Dolphins tonight. Now the question becomes who will come in to fill his roster spot.

Miami was link to Law earlier in the season, I wonder if the Tuna would make a move to solidify the Corner spot and try to get the Phins a push into the playoffs.

Deangelo Hall will be released tommorrow and Miami was linked to him earlier in the Season, I sincerely doubt they would take his 16 mill hit and they would have to wait their turn in claiming him.

Last but not least the Phins can take a flyer on an unproven player much like they have done with guys like Bess, Carpenter and Culver.

I'm thinking Anthony Armstrong might get his chance now that Hagan has been released. His ability to play special teams has to help him move from the practice squad to the regular roster.

Geforce I have to agree Anthony Armstrong can very well be upgraded from the PS. The kid played well and caught everything his way in Pre-season. We have had such good success with guys like Bess and Carpenter that I don't see the reason why not. I mean look at Tyrone Culver the kid is signed, cut signed again and now he is making plays two sundays in a row. Against Buffalo his hands were on the ball twice and in Denver he comes up with a critical INT.

we have enough WRs so bring in Hall if released
I think Hall's attitude might prevent the Trifecta from bringing him in. DeAngelo has never been known as a team player and with so many young players on the team, we don't need a potentially cancerous player dividing the locker room.

While we may have enough WRs, we can still use Armstrong's speed in the return game and let Bess focus on being the third receiver and less on returning kicks.

I would like Michael Huff if the Raiders actually release him.

i wanted that guy coming out of texas a few years back..is he struggling that bad...

I didn't think so before. It didn't look like him, but the Raiders are about to release like 12 players.

I watched the Jets play Oakland earlier this year and i really like what I saw out of Huff. If he was released he is a young player who could solidify the FS position, but I really have not heard about him possibily being released. Does anyone have a link?

I would like Michael Huff if the Raiders actually release him.
Huff is suffering from a similar problem that Jason Allen is suffering from. Multi-position-itis. Huff has gone from starting strong safety to starting free safety to possible corner back to backup free safety.

Well so far none of the Junk that oakland is releasing I want. Hall is a nucence and has been horrible for Oakland. Tommy Kelly, no thank you. Javon Walker please retire before you have no knees.

Is anyone excited the Raiders are quiting on the rest of the season.

WTF :sidelol::sidelol:

The process started on Monday, a day after the Raiders' embarrassing 24-0 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Davis, looking ahead to rest of the season and to 2009, asked his staff to study a list of potential players who could be let go before the end of the week or after the season, sources said.
One source said the list included more than a dozen names. The Raiders' front-office staff studied the cap consequences of releasing high-priced veteran players.

Last time I checked a dozen means 12 right???

If you read the whole article Michael Huff has been benched and could be one of the players released. He has a high cap number being the 9th pick in the draft if I'm not mistaken.

WoW and I thought we were bad last year. Somebody really needs to pull the cord on Davis.
