I want QB Matt Ryan, but will be equally satisfied with DE Chris Long. I think both players have a great future ahead of them....

I have a feeling it will depend on something that´s cooking in Parcell´s kitchen...and we don´t know what it is yet (JT, trade offers?)
 
Jake Long at #1. Best available corner at #32 (McKelvin or DRC).
 
Personally, I would like a trade down a couple of spots and grab Vernon Gholston but I know this is a pipe dream. Chris Long is the obvious choice, after missing out on Pace we are in need on upgrading a pourous run defense, but I rather get an extra pick or two and draft Gholston. That would be ideal.
 
No offense or anything, but this should be merged with 1000 other threads in the draft forum, and probably moved there.

I'm on the Chris Long bandwagon too for what it's worth, or trade down and take Gholston.

That said, I can see that you're new around here, so welcome to Finheaven :)
 
I want a guy thats 6-7 315 little body fat best tackle in the draft thats gave up 2 sacks(1 freshman) and 2 penalties in 4 years in a conference like michigan. Left tackles are more important with him john beck can get alot more time. Chris Long is a beast but i cant picture him as a 3-4 lineman and if he switched to LB i wouldnt wanna take a chance with the first pick in the draft putting our player in a new position hes never played.
 
Our D is getting bigger and badder as Bill continues to get big up front. If we want to jump ahead and grab one of the best fronts in the League then I would draft Chris Long. We are steadily getting Bigger and Better on the front 7 as the Free Agency chugs along. Jake Long is also not a very Long shot either. Our O-line can use some Young talent to lead us into the future. Someone who we can keep for the next 10 years. I don't see Smiley going anywhere for a while unless he just stinks it up. Prepare for Bill To go Line, Going for the Big boys.

That would be the ideal situation for me as well. I would be very happy with Chris Long at #1 though. But I do agree full heartedly, trading with ATL to give them 1 and we take 3, while acquiring one of their 2nds, and grabbing VG at 3 would be an absolute dream come true!
