The head official in that game was Gene Steratore. He is from the Pittsburgh area and a diehard Steelers fan. So yeah there was some bias IMO.

As I've gotten older, I don't "hate" teams anymore...as long as you never bring up the Sea Of Hands game.

With age, I've stopped hating teams as a whole. I have started hating fan bases of successful teams that complain on Twitter about how awful it is to be a fan of someone like the Steelers/Rams/Seahawks. We've dealt with mediocrity for two entire decades and live with it, one of these teams goes 8-8 and their worlds are burning down. They're like spoiled brats not getting their way.
