How about this?:

I "support" all Dolphins players, but if given the choice between Daunte or Joey, I believe that Joey gives us a better chance to win and I would rather see Joey behind center.

You're right. I support whoever starts as QB. I do think DC is not healthy enough to play right now and JH is giving us our best chance.

For some reason that reminds me of a Simpsons episode in which Homer takes the family to a horse race.

At the betting booth or whatever its called, Marge asks the clerk "Can't we just bet that the horses have a good time?"

the clerk says "Yeah...I think you want that line." pointing to a booth with a banner overhead that says "Wuss Bets"
